A brand-new office, a successful migration and an impressive series of enthusiastic new customers: 2016 was a great year for our Dutch colleagues at Cegeka-dsa. Managing director Anton Vreugdenhil looks to the future with confidence and excitement.
Part of the Cegeka Group since 2014, Cegeka-dsa provides Dutch housing associations and other real estate entities with dedicated ERP solutions. 2016 was a pivotal year, as Cegeka-dsa managed to complete its massive ERP upgrade project – two years ahead of schedule. “As we want to offer our customers agile, future-oriented solutions, we thoroughly overhauled our ERP solution in 2014, based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV,” Anton explains. “While we had scheduled a five-year migration period, every customer is now running the new Dynamics Empire platform. Meanwhile, we welcomed several important new clients.”
One of them is a cooperative of three housing associations in the Twente region – Domijn, Welbions and De Woonplaats. They unanimously selected Dynamics Empire on account of Cegeka-dsa’s expertise in the sector, its vision and its innovative approach. Our colleagues will implement the solution – slightly customized to each association’s specific needs – in the course of 2017.
2017 will be more than a year of new on-site implementations, though. With SaaS on the rise, Anton and his team are preparing for this radical shift, assembling the right know-how, people and business processes. “The world is moving so fast that it’s becoming impossible for in-house IT teams to keep up. With SaaS, they can focus on their core business, while their SaaS partner helps them leapfrog their current capabilities.” Microsoft Azure, the infrastructure platform that Cegeka-dsa relies on, facilitates digital transformation, opening the door to analytics, BI and the Internet of Things.One Cegeka
The recent move to a brand-new office in Veenendaal – another 2016 milestone - is sure to inspire the real estate ERP expert as it prepares for the future. “Last year, we promised serious efforts to break down in-house silos and make new acquisitions feel at home – and it worked. Three years after joining forces with Cegeka, we feel like an integral part of the group, especially since moving to the new office in Veenendaal. Working in the same building with all the other Cegeka employees helps us share experiences and know-how, fostering collaboration and creativity.”
