As one of the group’s newest members, Cegeka Solutions – formerly DanubeIT – underwent a successful rebranding in 2016, and Managing Director Herbert Bürger sees evolution on the horizon.
In 2016, almost all background processes needed to transform DanubeIT into Cegeka Solutions were completed, molding it into a healthy Cegeka-affiliated company specializing in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions and trading applications. Managing Director Herbert Bürger, who was with the former company for the preceding seven years, is enthusiastic about what the changes mean for the company’s future.
“We hired exceptional new talent, doubling our head count and putting together a completely new sales team. Not only that, but we also formed new partnerships with vendors and completed successful projects with Europapier and Agrar Markt Austria that are the frontrunners of additional projects to come in 2017. It’s a phenomenal start,” Herbert enthuses.
As a recent addition to Cegeka, Cegeka Solutions will focus on boosting synergies among its sister companies and applying the significant benefits of international group resources, shared knowledge, processes and procedures.
“Cegeka is a large, pan-European company, but potential clients in Austria aren’t aware of it yet. In addition to providing cutting-edge solutions to our market, growing brand awareness is also a major part of our strategy for 2017,” explains Herbert. His plans are to solidify Cegeka Solutions’ reputation in Austria as a trustworthy and knowledgeable digitalization partner.Responding to different trends with a human approach
Austria has experienced the dawn of the digital age differently than other European markets. “The trends are hitting much later here. Many of our customers don’t yet have an idea about how to approach – or even conceptualize – innovations such as IoT, for example. They’re struggling.”
Herbert explains that his ambition is not simply to offer solutions for digitalization, but to help, assist and direct customers along the path. “We’re interested in long-term relationships that involve a lot of trust and regular, in-depth interaction. There is so much opportunity here in Austria if we manage to do all of these things.”
