2018 was a profitable year for Cegeka in The Netherlands and for all our business lines: infrastructure, applications, business solutions and professional services.

From an infrastructure point of view, we are increasingly focused on cloud orchestration. This means we are taking our position as ‘hybrid cloud provider’ to a higher level: we are cloud managers, consultants, integrators and orchestrators all-in-one. Our core aim is to ‘unburden’ CIOs, so they get more bandwidth to focus on core tasks, such as the digitization of processes, products and services.

Our Applications division focuses on application management, agile development and DevOps containerization. We have invested considerably in the Outsystems platform, which is designed to build enterprise- grade apps very fast. Our DevOps teams have done a tremendous job, helping customers set up DevOps environments as well as Managed Container Platforms.

The Business Solutions division has worked hard on setting up several Microsoft Dynamics 365 competence centers. The division offers business solutions for specific sectors, of which food manufacturing is but one. Our approach - which is based on pre-configured and pre-defined templates – shortens the implementation cycle considerably, which is a huge competitive advantage.

Professional Services includes a broad range of skills and capabilities around a wide range of technologies. Our unique asset is the ability to deliver a wide range of specific skills fast. In a world which is characterized by a relentless and unabating War for Talent, this is crucial.
